Genetic algorithm approach to fixed-order mixed H2/H∞ optimal deconvolution filter designs

چکیده
The mixed 2 optimal deconvolution filter is proposed to achieve the 2 optimal reconstruction and a desired robustness against the effect of uncertainties in signal processing from the norm perspective. However, the conventional mixed 2 optimal design filters are very complicate and are not practical for industrial applications. For simplicity of implementation and conservation of operation time, the fixed-order mixed 2 optimal deconvolution filter design is interesting for engineers in signal processing from the practical design perspective. In this study, to avoid the trap of local minima, a design method based on the genetic algorithm is introduced to treat the nonlinear optimization design problem of the fixed-order mixed 2 deconvolution filter. The convergence property of our design algorithm is also discussed. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the design procedure and confirm the robustness performance of the proposed method.

متن کاملMixed H2/h∞-based Pid Control via Genetic Algorithms: an Experimental Evaluation
As is pointed out in [2], the so-called mixed H2/H∞ control designs are quite useful for robust performance design for systems under parameter perturbation and uncertain disturbance. However, as is also pointed out in [2], the conventional output feedback designs of mixed H2/H∞ optimal control are complicated and not easily implemented. By these reasons, it is quite common to fix the structure ...

This paper deals with the mixed H2/H∞ control problem for uncertain continuous-time linear systems. The polytopic parametric uncertainties are studied. Based on Genetic Algorithms (GAs) and linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), a hybrid algorithm is presented for numerical computation of an optimal fixed-order static or dynamic output feedback robust controller. The genetic algorithm is used to ob...

Many real world control systems usually track several control objectives, simultaneously. At the moment, it is desirable to meet all specified goals using the controllers with simple structures like as proportional-integral (PI) and proportional-integral-derivative (PID) which are very useful in industry applications. Since in practice, these controllers are commonly tuned based on classical or...

A genetic algorithm is proposed to optimize a tree-structured power distribution network considering optimal cable sizing. For minimizing the total cost of the network, a mixed-integer programming model is presented determining the optimal sizes of cables with minimized location-allocation cost. For designing the distribution lines in a power network, the primary factors must be considered as m...
